KMF Senior Housing Investors was established in 2000 with the objective of providing institutional
and high net worth investors the opportunity to invest in the senior housing sector. Since that time, the firm and its principals
invested in over $4 billion of senior housing transactions.
Objective research by Property & Portfolio Research and others demonstrates that the
investment opportunity afforded by the senior housing segment
of the multi-housing market is very real. We are capitalizing on this
opportunity on behalf of our investors. We believe that senior housing is currently at the
same point in its institutional acceptance that apartments were in the 90's.
The senior housing industry is large,
having an industry-wide net operating income equal to 75%
of the lodging industry, and 50% of the entire multi-family
housing industry. Prudent investment in the senior housing
industry will provide institutional investors with excellent
risk-adjusted returns in a property type that is less affected
by traditional business cycles.
Institutional investors can utilize
investments in senior housing to balance their portfolios
and mitigate volatility. Private investments in the senior
housing industry with experienced investment advisors, who have focused
on stabilized properties, have
historically performed well and will continue to strengthen
due to strong demographic trends associated with aging baby
boomers and the increased longevity of seniors. Demand trends
exceed the projected supply for the independent living, CCRC and senior apartment segments of the
senior housing industry.
KMF Senior Housing Investors, LLC
will make investments of various sizes and in various segments
of the senior housing industry to meet the individual needs
of its investors.
