KMF Invests in Haven Portfolio

August 2008 - KMF Senior Housing Investors announced that an investment had been made in a portfolio of assets pursuant to the Haven Healthcare bankruptcy. The portfolio includes 15 properties located in five northeastern states and totals 1,642 beds. The communities are comprised of assisted living and skilled nursing uses. The investment was structured as a purchase and lease-back with the option to acquire the fee in the future. Genesis Eldercare Network Services will the manager of the communities.
